1/4 - 1/2medium head of cabbagedepending on your taste
2 - 3tsp.celery salt
2 - 3tsp.onion powder
generous grinding of pepperor 1/2 tsp.
1/4 - 1/2c.shredded cheesemozzarella or cheddar
Brown ground beef with onion and minced garlic, drain off the fat when completely cooked, and add it back to the skillet.
Add cabbage, seasonings, broth, and rice.
Cover, cook on medium for 10 - 15 minutes or until the rice is done.
Remove from heat. Add shredded cheese and replace the lid until the cheese is melty.
You can easily serve this as a one-pot meal or add green beans as a side. My husband likes to eat his with saltine crackers, I prefer cornbread, but crusty French bread would taste wonderful with this dish as well.
