Welcome to Educating Campbells!
I’m not sure how you found me, but I’m so happy you’re here. If you’re looking for resources to help you become a better homeschool mom, you’ve definitely come to the right place.
A Struggling Homeschool Mom
I’m no stranger to being a struggling homeschool mom. When I started homeschooling my children, I was so overwhelmed that the overwhelm was sometimes paralyzing. I couldn’t keep up with laundry, schooling, appointments, and all of the other things we moms have to do.

I always felt like I was doing everything all wrong.
I’m by no means an expert, but I do have 11 years of homeschool experience, one homeschool graduate under my belt and my home is still standing.
Homeschooling can be a little overwhelming. With trying to balance being the teacher, the mom, the nanny, the housekeeper, the bookkeeper, and the cook, to say that life can get a little hectic is an understatement.
My goal is to help you succeed in homeschooling. Whether you have one child or eleven, I want to help you be more confident in the job you’re doing or want to do.
About Me
I love to sing in the shower, drink coffee, and eat chocolate, just not all at the same time. Besides blogging, I love to sew, crochet, quilt, read, draw with chalk pastels, and I’ll even color in a coloring book, on occasion. Not that I ever have the time to do all those things. I “read” Audible books mostly these days while I vacuum, shower, and drive the kids around.

I’ve been married to my husband for 16 years and we have a grand total of eight children. Two of those are grown and have lives of their own and six live at home with my husband and me. My children range in age from 23 on down to 2 years.
We live where I grew up, on my family’s farm, in the home my grandfather built for my grandmother after they were married. It needs work now and we’re working on making improvements just a little bit at a time. We’ll probably finish about the time all the kids move out. 🙄

Living in the country gives us lots of outdoor learning opportunities and we try to take advantage of every single one that comes our way.
