Our Favorite Free Homeschool Curriculum Choices
I explore free homeschool curriculum choices every year to try to offset some of our homeschooling costs. Here are some we’ve found work well for our large family, as well as some others that could work well for yours.
A lot of prospective homeschool parents think they must spend a small fortune on homeschool curriculum to give their children a proper education, but that isn’t true at all. There are plenty of great free homeschool curriculum choices to be found if you just know where to look.
These are some of my family’s favorite free homeschool curriculum choices and I hope they will become some of your family’s too.

Fields of Daisies History Curriculum
Grade Levels — Youngers, as well as, olders
This is a very well thought out curriculum. It incorporates a variety of books. There are other video resources and interactive games that go along with these lessons to keep them interesting.
We started this curriculum last week and thus far, it’s a winner in our home.
MasterMath
Grade Levels — 6th through 8th, and Algebra 1
I love that this curriculum has lecture videos for the kids to watch with example problems for them to try during the video before they work on their own. A worksheet is provided along with an answer key. There’s also an online quiz for them to take to make sure they’ve mastered the skill. If they need more practice, there’s a link for that too.
Other FREE Homeschool Curriculum We’ve Used
Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool
This is a completely free online homeschool curriculum covering many grades and many subjects. It worked well for our family for a while. You can pick and choose which subjects your child studies or they can study them all for their grade level.
We stopped using this curriculum because my children are not self-motivated and need constant supervision to make sure they are doing all the lessons, which they weren’t. They were leaving out some things daily and it was taking me longer to make sure they did the work than it was for them to actually do it.
Easy Peasy All-In-One High School
My older daughters used this curriculum with better results than we had with Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool for the younger kids. I think it could be just a difference in children’s ages.
Center for Innovation in Mathematics
This curriculum was not produced for children in the United States, but they certainly could use it and we did for a little while. We stopped because it became a daily fight and this curriculum was not self-led in the least, well for my kids it wasn’t.
Our curriculums must be partially self-led to allow for time with other children and responsibilities I have to our business. Your children may love it and you may too.

Something else that would get you some discounted or free homeschool curriculum is a GIVEAWAY!
I’ve gotten together with a great group of bloggers to make getting ready for the new school year just a little bit easier and hopefully a little less stressful on your wallet. How does $250 sound in helping you buy curriculum, books, games, puzzles, and educational supplies? Two people will win a $250 gift card to Christianbook.com!!
We know homeschooling can put financial strain on families – whether it’s from living on one-income or buying curriculum for your children – the financial aspect of it can be stressful. Our hope is that we can bless a couple of homeschool families (although we wish we could bless many more) so they can buy the curriculum and supplies they need.
To enter for your chance to win, simply use the Rafflecopter form below to enter. Now I know that is quite a few entries for you, but each of these bloggers has generously chipped in their own money to make this giveaway possible, so I hope you will take the time to do all of the entries. And hey, the more entries you do, the better your odds are of winning!
Giveaway ends August 16th, 2019 at 11:59pm ET. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be a resident of U.S. or Canada to enter. Selected winners will have 48 hours to respond to email notification to claim their prizes or another winner will be drawn.
