Busy moms forget to care for themselves most of the time, but let’s face it, who’s got the time or the money to think about self-care ideas? We’re so busy caring for the ones we love we never, or hardly ever, get around to caring for ourselves properly. We all should be taking better care of ourselves, right? Um, yes, we should!

Then why don’t we? I’ll tell you why. We are so busy taking better care of the ones we love that we either forget to include time for ourselves or we feel guilty when we do. Yes, I’m preaching to the choir on that last one. I actually feel guilty sometimes for taking a little time for myself.

Yes, I’m absolutely giving you permission to lock that bathroom door, light some candles, and play some of your favorite music with your favorite pair of earbuds or headphones. Leave the kids with Dad for 30 minutes and just relax.
