5 Cheap Self-Care Ideas for Busy Moms
Busy moms forget to care for themselves most of the time, but let’s face it, who’s got the time or the money to think about self-care ideas? We’re so busy caring for the ones we love we never, or hardly ever, get around to caring for ourselves properly. These 5 cheap self-care ideas for moms will change that for you, some of them in 30 minutes or less.
We’re all busy, right? You better believe it!
We all should be taking better care of ourselves, right? Um, yes, we should!
Then why don’t we? I’ll tell you why. We are so busy taking better care of the ones we love that we either forget to include time for ourselves or we feel guilty when we do. Yes, I’m preaching to the choir on that last one. I actually feel guilty sometimes for taking a little time for myself.
Lately, I fight back against that guilt and do it anyway. And that’s exactly what you need to do too. Fill your cup, Mama! It’s empty!
5 Cheap Self-Care Ideas
A hot bath with essential oils…ALONE.
Yes, I’m absolutely giving you permission to lock that bathroom door, light some candles, and play some of your favorite music with your favorite pair of earbuds or headphones. Leave the kids with Dad for 30 minutes and just relax.

Give your self a facial.
You can find some great DIY recipes online. You’ll find a variety of different DIY facial masks for different skin needs in 8 Homemade Facial Masks to Rejuvenate Your Skin from The Nourished Life. If you’d rather not DIY your own facial, there are many prepackaged facials, out there to choose from.
Kill some time watching a movie.
Watch your favorite movie, a new movie, or a documentary about a topic that interests you. A couple of hours of uninterrupted movie time could be just the medicine you need to energize you.
Paint your nails.
