Gift Ideas for Homeschooling Moms

Clothing

Even though she may not want to stay in t-shirts and leggings all the time, comfortable clothes are an important part of any homeschooling mom’s day.

Boutique clothing is a great gifting option. Boutiques have unique clothing and are small businesses. They keep business a little more personal and are very customer service oriented. My favorite online boutique is Tater’s Clozet. It’s owned and operated by two of my favorite people. I know you’ll like what you see, and they also have plus sizes available.

Tech Gadgets

If the homeschooling mom you love does a lot of computing, these first two items could be just the thing for her. The ICraze Laptop Stand and Logitech Wireless Keyboard will help keep the laptop at eye level and reduce neck and back strain. I love this duo! I use them in my bed, my recliner, and even at my desk.

Watching videos, taking pictures, scrolling Facebook, and checking out Instagram will be so much easier with a Popsocket. These neat little gadgets prop your phone up and give you some extra help with holding it too.

Fun Office Supplies

Homeschool moms do a lot of writing. So, a lot of us have a love affair with pens! Pretty pens, functional pens, and especially pens that write smooth. When you do a lot of writing, it’s important to like your writing instrument.

Frixion pens come in pretty colors, write smooth, and are ERASABLE. They’re wonderful and are some of my favorites.

Pilot G-2 Pens are also a favorite. They come in several different colors. The downside to this one – my kids really like these too, my budding writers all the way down to the 5-year-olds. If I want to be able to use these, I have to hide them.

Lesson plans, meal plans, and schedules, oh my! Five Star Flex Hybrid Notebook Binders are perfect for when you want a notebook but need a three-ring binder. I was recently turned on to these little gems from a blogger friend and they are so cool! There are several different pockets, and the rings on these babies are FLEXIBLE.

Other Homeschool Mom Must-Haves

Most homeschool moms I know drink coffee, heck, some even live off of it, but when you are busy teaching sometimes you start with hot coffee and end up with ice cold coffee. So frustrating! Why not get mom a cup to keep her coffee hot longer?

Books, books, books! They’re great, right? But some homeschool moms (like the one who is doing the typing right now) don’t have a lot of time to read, or if we sit down to read a book we fall asleep (yep, that’s me). Have I got a solution for you! Audible!

An Audible subscription would make a great gift. Audible makes it possible to listen to books while you do, well…almost anything. Cooking, cleaning, driving, and just about anything else can be done while you “read” Audible books. I listen while I get ready for my day.

Some of my favorites this year have been “Girl, Wash Your Face” by Rachel Hollis, “The Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman, “All the Pretty Things” by Edie Wadsworth, and “The 5 Second Rule” by Mel Robbins. (Disclaimer – Mel Robbins has some adult language in her book.)

If mom likes to do her shopping online, you could give her the gift that keeps on giving all year long. Get her an Amazon Prime subscription. These subscriptions are so helpful, and something your whole family could use.
